In light of current reports of infant formula shortages across the country, we want to highlight some important information and resources to support concerned families and pediatric health care providers in our community. Here are some key messages:
HMHB’s Clinical Arm
What is Mana Mama?
Mana Mama is a community-based midwifery model of care reaching people of Hawaii with a holistic approach during pregnancy and the baby’s first year and beyond. Clinical services are provided by our Hawaii State Licensed midwives, Lactation Consultants, and Nurse Practitioner. In addition to clinical services, participants receive comprehensive phone support and referrals to resources and information, as well as referrals to HMHB’s other programs.
Providers can come to you!
Our new Mana Mama mobile clinic (MMMC) allows us to provide clinical services outside of a hospital or office setting. Please call us at (808)737-5805 to schedule an appointment.
We have vaccines available!
We provide Influenza vaccines and COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, & Johnson & Johnson) to both adults and pediatric patients. Book your appointment at our office below or if you need us to come to your home instead, please call us at (808) 452-0338!
For the whole family, starting with mom & baby
Not only are we able to support mother and baby, but we are able to extend those services to the entire family and expand our reach.
Funded to give back.
Thank you to our funders!
HMHB is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit that is funded mostly by grants and donations. All funds go directly back into the community through our direct services and programs.
